Classes
Belay Class | $15
The essential rock climbing skill. In this 1 hour course, a RQ staff member will walk you through the knots, technique, and everything you need to know to keep your climber safe. Must be 13 to take the belay class.
This class is great for new climbers.
Class Times:
Mon-Fri: 5pm and 7pm
Sat: 1pm and 3pm
Sun: 1pm

Lead Classes | $135 for the series, $75 a single class
Are you interested in learning how to lead? Here’s what you need to know:
Participants should have a top rope belaying certification through RockQuest, be comfortable climbing 5.10 on top rope, and own their own climbing equipment (rope, harness, shoes, and belay device).
*If you don’t meet these prerequisites then you cannot take the Lead Classes. Feel free to stop by and chat with a staff member on how to get yourself ready!*
How the classes work:
-Classes are broken up into two sessions (lead climb then lead belay) lasting about 2-3 hours each. Completion of the lead class does NOT guarantee lead climb or lead belay certifications. Climbers are required to take the lead test with a RockQuest manager after taking the lead class (managers must be different from your lead class instructor).
-Lead classes are taught with a minimum of 2 climbers and a maximum of 4 climbers. If signing up individually, you will be put on a waiting list for the next available spot. Lead classes are by appointment and reserved with a minimum of 2 weeks notice.
